Rob Stonewood

Rob joined the Harmony Works team since November 2025 as the Trust’s Project Delivery Manager, helping to oversee the delivery of all the different strands of the project. Before working for Harmony Works, Rob worked in Television Production Management for 10 years.

He worked on a wide range of productions as a Production Manager, including the BRIT Awards, MTV EMAs, The King of Jordan’s Silver Jubilee Celebrations, the BBC’s programming marking the 75th Anniversary of VE and VJ Days, and concert films at the Royal Albert Hall, including a celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the James Bond films featuring Hans Zimmer. One of Rob’s final credits was as a Line Producer working alongside Oscar-winning director James Cameron to capture Billie Eilish’s upcoming “Hit Me Hard and Soft” 3D concert film in Manchester’s Co-Op Live. Throughout Rob’s work in TV, he was responsible for ensuring that productions were delivered on time and on budget, organising logistics for kit and crews of up to 100 people, and that the needs of a wide range of different stakeholders (eg. funders, production partners, and senior creatives) were met.

Music has always been an important part of Rob’s life. He started learning Piano, Clarinet and Saxophone from a young age, then studied Music at the University of Manchester and completed modules in electroacoustic composition, postmodernism in music and klezmer performance. While at university he formed the award-winning barbershop quartet, Tagline, and is now the Musical Director for two choirs in Sheffield, Hallmark of Harmony and Carfield Community Choir. Rob is committed to spreading music-making to as many people around Sheffield as possible, regardless of background and prior experience.
