It was brilliant to welcome Councillor Fran Belbin and Councillor Ben Miskell to Canada House; we were able to share our plans for the future and visit some of the grand and many curious spaces which will become a home for young musicians across the city and region. It was wonderful to receive their support and hear their enthusiasm.

“Loved visiting Harmony Works at Canada House today with Councillor Ben Miskell, and meeting some of the partners involved with this amazing project. The building itself is remarkable, with a fascinating history. Unless you were a regular at Turn Ups nightclub in the 1980s or have taken advantage of heritage open days, you may never have had the opportunity to visit, but over the next couple of years it will become the home for music creation and education for young people right across the city. Thanks to everyone involved with showing us around today.”
Thanks to Ian Naylor of Sheffield Music Hub, Nick Thorne of Orchestras for All and Harmony Works Trustees David Hobson and Ian Falconer for helping to facilitate the visit.
