Sophie has been the Project Officer for Harmony Works since 2020. A chartered surveyor and project manager by training, Sophie spent over twenty years developing and delivering projects for the National Trust in the Midlands and the North West, many in partnership with other organisations.

Sophie offers strategic support to Harmony Works, particularly in relation to fundraising, the case for support and partnership development. She also leads the project’s evaluation work.

Sophie grew up in Sheffield, returning to the city in 2001 when she got a job in the Peak District. As well as working with Harmony Works, Sophie is an independent consultant supporting the business development of a range of environmental, heritage and arts organisations, both locally and further afield.
