Sophie has been the Project Officer for Harmony Works since 2020. A chartered surveyor and project manager by training, Sophie spent over twenty years developing and delivering projects for the National Trust in the Midlands and the North West, many in partnership with other organisations. 

Sophie’s role is to support all aspects of the project’s management, ensuring smooth running of the various workstreams and coordinating activity across the project. 

Sophie grew up in Sheffield, returning to the city in 2001 when she got a job in the Peak District. A mother of two school-aged boys who play in various Sheffield Music Hub groups, and a member of a community celilidh band, Sophie is passionate about everyone having an opportunity to play the music they love in a supportive environment.
