We are delighted that one of our partners, Music in the Round, has been shortlisted for the 2026 Sky Arts Classical Music Award!
Music in the Round have been nominated alongside their ensemble-in-residence Ensemble 360, in recognition of the success of the Sheffield Chamber Music Festival. The Festival has run almost every year since it began in 1984, and has become an important part of Sheffield’s cultural calendar.
The Music in the Round team will travel to The Roundhouse in London for the awards on Tuesday 19th October. The Sky Arts Awards recognise excellence and achievement across a wide range of performing arts, from pop music and opera to dance, poetry and visual arts. This year’s ceremony will be hosted by artist Sir Grayson Perry, and South Yorkshire’s own Rebecca Lucy Taylor (a.k.a musician Self Esteem).
