Youth forum launched!

We launched the first session of our new Youth Forum this week, continuing our work centring the voices of young people in the project.  An enthusiastic group from Sheffield joined us for an hour to talk about music, what Harmony Works is and will be and how they can be involved in shaping its future.

We had some really insightful discussions about how to reach more young people, get them involved and what they’d like to do next. Everyone shared three pieces of music that are important to them and they came up with a great variety of pieces.  Look out for a Spotify playlist in due course!

We will host the next sessions in our home, Canada House, so that they can get a feel for the building as it is now and you’re welcome to join us.  Keep an eye on the website and our social media for the dates.
More images of how Canada house will look when open, there's a page for the Social space and the white room. The heritage hall has a lively musical performance against red stage curtains
