Harmony Works was thrilled to collaborate on the re-opening of Leah’s Yard, following a major redevelopment to the historic building.
Leah’s Yard has recently undergone major renovations to transform the space into a social hub for independent businesses, all while maintaining a sympathetic approach to the original design. The building had been on Historic England’s “Buildings At Risk” list before the work and is now the latest addition to the bustling cultural centre around Cambridge Street. It has just reopened to the public and is already drawing crowds and contributing to the reinvigoration of Sheffield’s city centre.
Harmony Works supported the 23-25 August launch weekend by providing musical talent from young people in the city and we were delighted to be part of the celebrations.
As we work to bring Canada House, a key part of Sheffield’s built and social heritage back to life, it’s great to bring music to support Leah’s Yard the wonderful historic gem in the very heart of our city this weekend.
